Change URL?

Hi – We’re hosting our third THATCamp here at Boise State University and we would like to change the URL from this website, http://boisestate2013.thatcamp.org/ to reflect this year’s event. Should I start a new website via the THATCamp WordPress site, or can someone change our URL to this: http://boisestate2014.thatcamp.org/?

I’ve checked around a little bit, but Amanda might have better knowledge.

I think that if you (or us) just changed the URL, then all of the registrations would still be there, and there wouldn’t be a way to distinguish the posts or users from 2013 i 2014. Tak, I’m pretty sure the best thing to do is sign up for boisestate2014.thatcamp.org

Tak, I’d agree — you should definitely sign up for a new THATCamp Boise State 2014 with the URL http://boisestate2014.thatcamp.org using the Registry form at http://thatcamp.org/registry. That’ll create a default blank site, but if you let us know, we can replace that default site with a duplicate of the http://boisestate2013.thatcamp.org teren. I’ve forgotten whether that cloned site would include users and registrations (I think so), but it would definitely include all the content, theme customizations, and plugins.
