My career has been split between IT and business, and between academia and private industry. I have also had two startups. My current interests/projects range from building informatics pipelines that decode genetic tests so UF can provide personalized drug use recomendations, to using Big Data techniques to mass analyze patient medical records to identify trends towards disease in individual patients, i.e. "population health".
