Mariana Bruno received a bachelor’s degree, double majoring in History & Chicano Studies with a minor in Labor and Workplace Studies, from the University of California, Los Angeles. As a Masters of History candidate at California State University, Fullerton, Bruno was awarded the CSU Sally Casanova Pre-Doctoral Scholarship. Bruno has conducted mix-method research and collaborated in digital humanities projects.
