I am one of the editors of the Eleanor Roosevelt Papers at the George Washington University, where I have worked since 2007.Before that I trained as an historian of American culture at the University of Maryland, where I received my PhD in 2006. I have also taught US history, cultural history, history of sexuality, and women's history at UMD, George Mason University, Tennessee State University, and Middle Tennessee State.
