I am currently a student at Brown University, working toward a Ph.D. in American Studies and an M.A. in Public Humanities from the John Nicholas Brown Center for Public Humanities. I am interested in a wide variety of subjects, including popular culture and technology in the long 20th Century, and the history of cultural institutions and their ideas about knowledge in the public sphere. I am currently enrolled in a class on digital humanities, and hope to grow my knowledge further. From 2006 to 2010 I worked in New York City as an exhibition researcher and developer for the American Museum of Natural History, and then for Thinc Design, working on the new National 9/11 Memorial Museum.
