I hold a BA in English from the University of Florida. From my years working in the former Preservation Department at UF, where I managed the microfilm unit, I made the natural transition to leading the Newspaper Digitization Unit in Digital Support Services. I am responsible for the Florida Digital Newspaper Library (FDNL), the Caribbean Newspaper Digital Library (CNDL), the Digital Military Collection and the Digital Aerospace Collection. I am the primary contact for publishers interested in participating in these programs. I also manage and train students and temporary staff in harvesting of born digital newspapers and digitization of print newspapers.
